About The Position

North Auburn Care, a Caldera Care facility, is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON). The facility describes itself as newly remodeled, under new management, and offering set schedules. The ADON works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned core programs, and serves as the primary staff development and educator resource. The position is based at North Auburn Care, 2830 I St. NE, Auburn, WA 98002. The stated pay range is $110,000–$120,000, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

• Current Washington RN license without any enforcement action against it.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned core programs under the supervision of the DON.
• Serve as the primary staff development and educator resource.
• Make frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff follow assigned duties and redirect them as necessary.
• Ensure nursing stations are organized, clean, and appropriately stocked.
• Participate in developing and implementing resident-specific care plans.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the DON.
