About The Position

Delaney at the Vale is hiring an Assistant Director of Health Services to partner with the Director of Health Services in leading clinical operations at its senior living community. This leadership role is intended for an experienced nurse who wants to develop clinical teams and contribute to resident care and experience. The position includes a Monday-Friday schedule and a manager-on-duty weekend rotation. The starting salary is $95,000+.

Requirements

• RN required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Nice To Haves

• Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop nursing team members.
• Promote accountability, engagement, and compassionate care.
• Assist with staffing oversight and scheduling.
• Partner with the Director of Health Services to oversee nursing operations.
• Support compliance with state regulations, community policies, and best practices.
• Support infection prevention, safety initiatives, pharmacy reviews, and quality audits.
• Assess residents and assist with care-level determinations.
• Support resident admissions and transitions of care.
• Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
