About The Position
Delaney at the Vale is seeking an Assistant Director of Health Services to partner closely with the Director of Health Services in leading clinical operations at its senior living community. This leadership role is intended for an experienced RN ready to advance their career while contributing to resident care and team development. The position helps shape the resident experience, develop clinical teams, and support a culture where residents and team members thrive. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a manager-on-duty weekend rotation.
Requirements
- RN required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and team development.

- Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop nursing team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and compassionate care.
- Assist with staffing oversight and scheduling support.
- Partner with the Director of Health Services to oversee nursing operations.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, community policies, and best practices.
- Support infection prevention, safety initiatives, pharmacy reviews, and quality audits.
- Assess residents and assist with care level determinations.
- Support resident admissions and transitions of care.
- Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional outcomes.
