This position provides leadership, management, and oversight for registered student organization support services, advisor resources, and student organization operations. It involves managing the coordination, education, and processing of student organization registration, event permitting, risk management, on-site event management, officer eligibility, space allocations, and related administrative processes. The role also involves developing and implementing training, resources, consultations, and educational opportunities for student organization leaders and advisors. Additionally, it requires serving as a primary resource for student leaders, advisors, and campus partners regarding student organization policies and procedures, and supporting student organization management systems like GatorConnect. The position also leads, coordinates, and elevates Community and Belonging programs that promote community development, student engagement, involvement, leadership development, and student connection. This includes planning, implementing, supervising, and assessing programs within the Community and Belonging portfolio, such as Speed Friending, individual and group involvement consultations, Break Buddies, MLK campus celebration, and Gator Wellness Day. The role involves coordinating program timelines, logistics, budgets, staffing plans, marketing needs, risk considerations, and assessment strategies. It also requires identifying opportunities to create and implement new programs, collaborating with campus departments and partners, and serving as a resource for event planning and management. Administrative duties include budget planning, monitoring, and reporting, as well as developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other university departments. The position also involves administrative leadership, supervision, assessment, and strategic operations for the Office of Community and Belonging, including providing supervision, training, and support for professional staff, graduate assistants, and student employees. Strategic planning, goal setting, budget planning, financial monitoring, reporting, and resource allocation are key responsibilities. Assessment efforts related to student organization services, program effectiveness, student satisfaction, learning outcomes, and emerging student needs are also required. The role contributes to marketing, communication, and outreach strategies, stays informed of trends in student engagement and related areas, and participates in division-wide initiatives and committees. This position reports to the Director of Community and Belonging and provides reports to the Associate Director for Student Organizations.
