The Assistant Director of Student Engagement & Belonging serves as the University’s lead recognizing agent and advisor for more than 200 recognized student organizations, and provides critical leadership for student organization policy, compliance, leadership education, and campus-wide programming. This position supervises the Coordinator of Student Organizations and the Coordinator of Programming & Leadership, manages major student organization processes, and supports programs such as University Day, Lead UNH, the Student Leadership Awards, senior programming, CAB, SCOPE, and other student organization activities. The role is central to the Student Life mission of building community, belonging, student development, and engagement, and ensures that student leaders have the training, advising, risk management support, and operational infrastructure needed to run safe and successful programs.
