The Employee Relations office welcomes applicants for the Assistant Director of Equal Opportunity and Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) Coordinator at Ball State University. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with federal civil rights laws, lead investigations, and oversee a campus-wide ADA program that promotes equitable access for employees and applicants, while influencing policy, advising senior leadership, and delivering training across the university community on nondiscrimination and employee relations matters. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in equal opportunity compliance, employment law, and ADA program administration, along with the ability to conduct investigations with sound judgment and neutrality, communicate effectively, and manage confidential matters while building trust across a wide range of stakeholders. This position requires a full-time on-campus presence. Candidates must have current authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
