Under the supervision of the Director of University Outreach & School Relations (UOSR), this position provides support services to Long Beach College Promise (LBCP) students. This position creates, develops, and supports programming and services to ensure access to opportunities across the campus. The Assistant Director of CSULB Long Beach College Promise enthusiastically supports the University's strong commitment to the academic success of all of our students, including students of color, students with disabilities, students who are first generation to college, veterans, students, and offers CSULB students a rich variety of expertise, perspectives, and ways of knowing and learning the quality of campus life. Furthermore, this position is responsible for providing services that are equitable, inclusive and provide culturally sensitive services that enhance the quality of campus life, retention, and graduation rate. This position uses a student centered and equity minded approach in all communication and service efforts. ACPA’s 2024 and 2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs.
