The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for an Assistant Clinical Professor in biostatistics. The position primarily involves teaching courses along with departmental related duties/service. The Department’s mission is to improve health and reduce health disparities in local communities, the state of Maryland, and the nation. The Department offers an MPH degree in biostatistics, a PhD degree in biostatistics and bioinformatics (jointly offered with the Department of Mathematics), an MPH degree in epidemiology, and a PhD degree in epidemiology. The School of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health and is located on the flagship campus of the University of Maryland. The School’s vision is “to be a leader in the discovery, application and dissemination of public health knowledge in the State of Maryland, the nation and the world.” The successful candidate will contribute to fulfilling this vision.
