About The Position

This is a 12-month fixed-term faculty position reporting to a Division Chair. The faculty member may teach in didactic, clinical, laboratory, and/or simulation settings in prelicensure programs, with expertise in psychiatric-mental health nursing. The role may include coordinating courses, overseeing advisement of prelicensure honors projects, and serving on BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or PhD committees. Additional service and scholarship are commensurate with rank.

Requirements

• Eligibility for RN licensure in North Carolina.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership in academic practices.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate preferred.
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl).
