About The Position

The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) invites applications from qualified candidates for the Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor position. This is a full-time, 12-month Nursing faculty position teaching in the Undergraduate/Prelicensure Program. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service, and scholarship components of the faculty role based on rank. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing at the time employment begins.
• Must have current clinical skills.
• Must hold a current unencumbered Alabama RN license or Multistate RN License.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire.
• Teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program.
• Certified in clinical specialty.
• Expertise in Adult Health Nursing.
• Acute care or critical care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Skills and Simulation Lab Coordinator with set up and take down of all skills and other laboratory events.
• Teach in the laboratories to include weekly labs, validations, open labs, competency validations and other teaching as assigned.
