About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) for Wiregrass Ranch Rehab. The ACNO directs nursing service activities for the assigned hospital and helps ensure the safety of its nursing units. The position supports appropriate staffing and nursing care, serves as a liaison between staff and administration, promotes staff productivity, and develops and implements nursing policies and procedures consistent with PAM Health policies and accreditation standards. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital is located.
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in nursing management preferred.
- Certification in a specified field preferred, such as CNE, CRRN, CCRN, or PCCN.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s) and hospital.
- Direct nursing service activities for the assigned hospital.
- Make recommendations for staff-to-patient ratios and maintain a system for determining and providing adequate staff to deliver appropriate nursing care.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and administration.
- Promote staff productivity.
- Develop and implement nursing service policies and procedures in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
