About The Position

Reporting to the Center Manager, the Assistant Center Manager has ultimate responsibility for the entire center’s operations in the Center Manager’s absence, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT. The role helps maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability while ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations. It also supports the purity and efficacy of plasma and the safety of donors and employees.

The position includes recruitment, training, counseling, and termination responsibilities, as well as support for the center’s marketing and advertising efforts. Overnight travel may be required up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing the activities of a team or other employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Center Manager on quality compliance to meet company, regulatory, and customer requirements and safeguard plasma quality and the safety of donors and employees.
• Work with quality personnel and the QA team to develop corrective action plans for deficiencies identified during audits.
• Ensure the center and employees comply with OSHA regulations and training requirements, and complete OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
• Recruit, train, counsel, and terminate employees, and administer corrective action programs.
• Follow HR policies and work with HR to treat employees fairly.
• Support the center’s marketing and advertising efforts.
• Assume responsibility for the entire center’s operations in the Center Manager’s absence, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT.
