VP, Assistant Branch Manager - Century City, CA
About The Position
The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) is a development and leadership role within Schwab’s Branch Network. Working in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Branch Manager, the ABM develops and implements a local business plan focused on growing market share and client assets. The ABM coaches branch professionals and supports performance management and employee engagement. The role is part of Schwab’s Investor Services organization, which helps individuals and families pursue financial goals such as retirement planning, charitable giving, estate planning, active investing, and banking and lending needs. This is a development path toward becoming a Branch Manager. Employees hired into the role must be flexible to relocate across the network when a manager role becomes available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- Valid and active Series 7 license.
- Valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license.
- Valid and active Series 9/10 (8) license, which may be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Flexibility to relocate across the network when a Branch Manager role becomes available.

- Valid and active Life and Health Insurance license, which may be obtained within 120 days of employment.
- CFP® designation.
- Strong brokerage and industry knowledge.
