About The Position

BSNB is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations and deliver an exceptional banking experience. The role assists with staff development and helps customers identify banking solutions that meet their financial needs. Duties include processing transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, supporting consumer lending activities, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Branch Manager partners with branch leadership to support team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
One to three years of experience in a sales- and/or service-oriented position.
Prior cash handling experience.
Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Computer proficiency and ability to input and retrieve data.

Previous supervisory, leadership, or coaching experience.

Responsibilities

Support daily branch operations and help maintain an efficient, customer-focused environment.
Assist customers with account opening, account maintenance, and banking transactions.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
Support consumer lending activities and generate referrals to other business lines when appropriate.
Assist with employee coaching, training, and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Help drive branch sales, customer service, and operational goals.
Partner with branch leadership to strengthen customer relationships and team performance.
