About The Position

The Assistant Branch Manager Liability-Auto PD supervises a liability claims team handling varying caseload sizes and complexities, with the goal of delivering high-quality, efficient service. The role guides the team in applying Gallagher Bassett’s Best Practices, leads adjuster hiring and training, and supports a culture of performance and continuous improvement. It also ensures employees maintain appropriate licenses and certifications and uses Gallagher technology to improve team efficiency and service quality. The position requires professional, positive, and proactive communication with clients, carriers, and brokers. The Assistant Branch Manager manages competing priorities, identifies coaching opportunities, and helps team members develop. The role is eligible for fully remote work, and its jurisdictional coverage is open.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 12 years of related claims experience.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Appropriate licensure and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled.
Knowledge of all team-member-related functions.
Commercial Auto claims background.

Bachelor’s degree.
Prior leadership experience of 3 or more years.

Responsibilities
