The Deputy Boutique Manager is responsible for assisting the Boutique Manager in the day to day operations of the boutique with a focus of motivating and directing the team to provide exceptional service while reaching or exceeding its sales targets. This role involves motivating and supporting retail initiatives to generate revenue and hit sales targets, participating and leading activities that will improve sales to Prospects, Repeat and VIP clients. The position holder is responsible for setting the tone on the selling floor and significantly contributing to all sales and sales assists, and setting the tone for Exceptional Customer Service. The role also includes supporting the management of the Boutique Team, assessing team needs, training and guiding the team on Maison History, RNA policies and procedures, and Product Knowledge. Scheduling the team to ensure proper coverage, guiding the team in ensuring KPIs are met, and motivating the team to reach their goals are key responsibilities. Providing regular performance feedback, coaching the team, and helping drive accountability and development are also crucial. The Assistant Boutique Manager must have the ability to lead the boutique and ensure continuity of the business in the Boutique Manager’s absence. They will also assist the Boutique Manager in ensuring that payroll and commissions are completed on time and follow company guidelines. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the management and ensuring the proper operations of the Boutique, supervising the safety and wellbeing of the team, clients, and product by following all RNA safety and security guidelines. Adherence to Finance guidelines in accordance with RNA procedures and policies, and ensuring the team does the same, is required. Compliance with requests for reporting and ensuring all VM policies and procedures are followed in accordance with HQ and VM manager requests and guidelines are also part of the operational duties. The role is responsible for Continuous Client Acquisition and Client Development, ensuring that associates are continuing to develop new relationships and hitting their KPIs for client acquisition and client development. The ability to analyze individual and boutique performance, identify business opportunities, and support appropriate action plans is essential. Maintaining VIP relationships and working with corporate to help build and engender these clients, developing loyalty by taking the client through customer journeys, and ensuring associates are using CRM tools are key client-facing responsibilities. Travel with clients to events and trips to the manufacture when appropriate, and ensuring that daily/weekly/monthly activations are being completed are also expected. The Assistant Manager should help to engender good relationships within the community and provide feedback regarding competition and an understanding of traffic.
