About The Position

The Assistant Banquet Manager will execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for meetings and social events, coordinate with vendors and departments to deliver seamless events, support departmental goals by managing inventory, costs, and schedules, and supervise banquet staff. This role will also step in for the Banquet Manager as needed and assist with hiring, training, and daily team leadership.

Requirements

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Hospitality background preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet during busy shifts.
  • Flexible schedule availability.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for meetings and social events.
  • Coordinate with vendors and departments to deliver seamless events from setup to sendoff.
  • Support departmental goals by managing inventory, costs, and schedules.
  • Supervise banquet staff—ensuring side work is done, service is polished, and morale stays high.
  • Step in for the Banquet Manager as needed and help with hiring, training, and daily team leadership.
