About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a part-time Assistant Bread Baker to prepare artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads using whole ingredients. The role is part of a dynamic bakery team and involves following recipes, maintaining attention to detail, and meeting food-handler and sanitation standards. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Bread-baking shifts generally run from approximately 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a Sunday shift while the store is closed. During holiday seasons, schedules may include overnight shifts. The position requires frequent lifting and continuous standing and walking, with limited opportunities to sit. Essential job functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Large-scale baking or pastry experience is preferred but not required; training may be available for the right candidate. Formal baking or pastry education is a bonus. Saturdays are off. Health benefits are offered to full-time employees, and pet insurance is also offered. Career development paths may include restaurant leadership, retail management, or specialization in pastry and bread baking.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
