About The Position

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Assistant Baker partners with the Baker to consistently create high-quality cakes and meet production demands while contributing to superior guest service. The role follows proprietary recipes, production methods, and food safety standards, and supports the repeated baking process for cakes offered in a variety of flavors and sizes. The Assistant Baker embodies the company’s core values and demonstrates a commitment to excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods precisely and achieve productivity goals.
• Use measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assist the Baker with preparing ingredients and equipment, placing cake pans in the oven, and monitoring baking.
• Assist with daily baking, production flow, and related processes.
• Package, label, and store baked cakes properly; follow product rotation standards and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation, and help prepare baking supplies for the next shift.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene requirements.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
