About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a part-time Assistant Bread Baker to help prepare artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads made with whole ingredients. The role is part of a team focused on food quality, customer service, and community. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Bread-baking shifts typically run around 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a Sunday shift when the store is closed; during holiday seasons, schedules may include overnight shifts. Saturdays are off.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available to work afternoons and evenings.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to adapt to change and work flexibly.
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
Ability to lift dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

Large-scale baking or pastry experience; experience is preferred but not required, and the employer is willing to train the right person.
Formal baking or pastry education.
