About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a part-time Assistant Bread Baker to join a team baking artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads made with whole ingredients. The position involves following recipes, attending to details, and helping produce high-quality breads. The role requires afternoon and evening availability; baking shifts typically run around 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a Sunday shift when the store is closed. During holiday seasons, schedules may include overnight shifts. Saturdays are off. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available to work afternoons and evenings.
Ability to adapt to change and work flexibly.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
Ability to lift dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 pounds or more.
Attentiveness to food-handler and sanitation standards and applicable regulations.

Nice To Haves

Large-scale baking or pastry experience (preferred but not required; training may be provided).
Formal baking or pastry education.
