About The Position

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Assistant Baker partners with the Baker to consistently create high-quality cakes for guests and meet production demands. Following proprietary recipes, production methods, and food safety standards, the Assistant Baker supports the repeated baking process for cakes offered in a variety of flavors and sizes. The role embodies Nothing Bundt Cakes core values and demonstrates a commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Follows proprietary recipes and cake production methods precisely and achieves productivity goals.
• Uses measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Helps prepare raw ingredients and equipment, places cake pans in hot ovens, and monitors the baking process.
• Assists with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Packages, labels, and stores baked cakes properly; follows product rotation standards; and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation and helps ensure baking supplies are ready for the next shift.
• Complies with health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene requirements.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.
