The University of North Texas (UNT) Chemistry Department is seeking a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Chemical Oncology, starting September 1, 2027. This role is part of a Biomedical Research Cluster Hire initiative to recruit five faculty members focused on health- and cancer-related research. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers across UNT, including the BioDiscovery Institute and the Biomedical Engineering Department, to advance interdisciplinary health research. Expectations include developing a visible, externally funded research program, contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching (typically one course per semester), and participating in departmental and university service. The department offers substantial research support infrastructure, including staffed NMR, X-ray diffraction, high-performance computing facilities, a stockroom, and a shared instrumentation laboratory.
