About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM) program. This is a twelve-month faculty appointment in the fully online Master of Health Informatics and Information Management program. Faculty members also contribute to the education and mentorship of doctoral students in the Health Outcomes and Policy Research Program's Health Informatics and Information Management concentration.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Health Informatics, Information Management, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching at the university level.
- Experience in research and scholarly activity.
- Ability to mentor students at both master's and doctoral levels.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with online education delivery.
- Professional experience in Health Informatics or Health Information Management.
- Record of successful grant funding.
Responsibilities
- Teach in the fully online Master of Health Informatics and Information Management program.
