About The Position
The Department of Medicine at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are seeking an outstanding, creative investigator in any area of Immunology. Our faculty include some of the brightest and most innovative scholars spanning a broad variety of disciplines and disease models. The Department of Medicine has established the Research Hub to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and continue a major expansion of the faculty as part of a 5-year strategic plan. UF has more than 30 immunology research laboratories situated across multiple colleges and institutes that are supported by state-of-the-art resources and centers in advanced imaging, genomics, cytometry, virology, vector biology, metabolomics, lipidomics, and oncogenesis. UF is also developing a world-class artificial intelligence (AI) research infrastructure to support investigators. Research spans innate and adaptive immunity, with existing strengths in infectious disease, organ-specific immunology of lung and kidney, autoimmunity, cancer immune therapies, and antiviral immunity. We are particularly interested in recruiting candidates who will build a research program that complements these existing strengths.
Requirements
- PhD, MD or MD/PhD in the biomedical sciences or a related field of study
