About The Position
The Department of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be an accomplished investigator with a strong record of independent, extramurally funded research and will expand and lead a robust, innovative research program aligned with the strategic priorities of their academic division. The position is part of the Department’s research faculty expansion and collaborative academic environment. The University of Florida provides state-of-the-art laboratory and clinical research space, numerous research core facilities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and formal mentorship and leadership development programs. The UF Health Science Center includes six health-related colleges co-located on the Gainesville campus, with additional teaching, research, and clinical sites in Jacksonville, Orlando, and across Florida. The salary is commensurate with experience and education. Applicants must upload a resume and three letters of recommendation. A health assessment is required. Requirements
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree.
- Established independent research program with active R01 or equivalent funding.
- Demonstrated scholarly productivity through peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong record of independent, extramurally funded research.
