As an Asset Protection Officer, you help create a safe, secure, and service-focused shopping environment. You serve as a visible and welcoming presence at store entrances, high-traffic areas, and high-shortage locations to deter theft, identify potential risks, support customer and colleague safety, and partner with store teams. The role includes responding calmly to incidents and medical situations, supporting shortage-reduction efforts, documenting incidents, conducting operational audits, and helping customers and colleagues feel comfortable and cared for. Officers may assist with apprehensions under the direction of Asset Protection leaders, Captains, or Detectives and may provide testimony in legal proceedings as needed. The position requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, with schedules and hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability.
