About The Position

The Asset Management Specialist (AMS) for Hillrom/Baxter Respiratory Health will be responsible for developing strategies and relationships to implement plans for maintaining control over all devices in the field: home care and acute care customers, sales reps, internal and external training personnel, and educational facilities. This role requires applying problem-solving skills to minimize quality issues. The specialist will work collaboratively to investigate and resolve discrepancies with the Home Care and Acute Care Customer teams, field trainers, Sales personnel, Training Support Specialists, Operations team, local and corporate Quality and Regulatory teams, as well as corporate Legal to assure adherence to device disposition at all times. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in a customer service role
  • 2+ years of experience in the durable medical or related healthcare field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, fluid environment, pivoting tasks and priorities as needed
  • Proven attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end return process for respiratory devices and accessories
  • Assign serial numbers for new shipments and warranty replacements
  • Conduct quarterly audits to track and verify asset locations using equipment reports
  • Investigate and resolve product pickup, return, and quality-related issues using multiple systems
  • Serve as liaison across teams for asset quality management and process improvements
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate system data and reporting
  • Monitor reports (JDE/TIMS) to ensure timely returns, pickups, and proper documentation compliance
  • Analyze trends in product quality, returns, and complaints, collaborating with teams and QA/RA to resolve issues and escalate non-compliance
