Asset Management Intern
About The Position
The Asset Management Intern will support Marcon’s Income Producing Properties (IPP) team by contributing to financial analysis, asset-level reporting, and portfolio insights across a growing real estate portfolio. Working closely with Asset Management, Property Management, and Leasing teams, this role provides exposure to how stabilized and newly delivered assets are evaluated, managed, and optimized. This role is focused on developing structured analysis, supporting reporting processes, and generating market insights that inform leasing strategies and asset performance. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with financial models, portfolio data, and real estate market research across multiple asset classes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within a fully integrated real estate platform that manages assets from development through to long-term operations. You will be exposed to how data, financial analysis, and market intelligence are used to drive performance and decision-making across a diverse portfolio. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful work that supports real portfolio outcomes, while building foundational skills in asset management, real estate analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and ability to work with structured and unstructured data
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Interest in real estate, asset management, and financial analysis
