About The Position

Medica is a nonprofit health plan with more than a million members that serves communities in Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, and beyond. We deliver personalized health care experiences and partner closely with providers to ensure members are genuinely cared for. We're a team that owns our work with accountability, makes data-driven decisions, embraces continuous learning, and celebrates collaboration — because success is a team sport. It's our mission to be there in the moments that matter most for our members and employees. Join us in creating a community of connected care, where coordinated, quality service is the norm and every member feels valued. Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch and Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you’ll be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year. Medica’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) Intern will primarily focus on assisting with day-to-day tasks of uploading assets into our DAM system, the Medica Digital Asset Center (MDAC). In addition to entering content into MDAC, they’ll contribute to a larger project aimed at improving the DAM’s workflow or metadata structure to enhance asset findability. They’ll also help with administrative documentation of system changes associated with that project. Performs other duties as assigned.
