About The Position

HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, which delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers worldwide. The company is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to support production operations and help achieve goals for quality, cost, delivery, and safety. The role leads and develops production staff, oversees production-floor activities, ensures company policies and procedures are followed, and supports continuous improvement. The position is identified as second shift.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and two years of supervisory experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
Proven computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with employees at all levels.
Strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Sound technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications.

Responsibilities

Support production staff in achieving company goals for quality, cost, delivery, and safety through communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
Monitor equipment functionality and verify that poka-yokes are working correctly; immediately report malfunctioning or bypassed poka-yokes and unsafe or defective operations.
Understand all aspects of exhaust production processes in order to train operators and leaders.
Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
Analyze staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance with production schedules and budgets across production processes.
Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and maintenance, and product quality.
Manage production-floor activities and ensure company procedures and policies are followed.
Promote high morale, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
Participate in and lead 5S, quality, safety, delivery, cost, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
Perform other duties and projects based on the company's operational objectives.
