Assembly Production Supervisor (Days)

Air Products•St. Louis, MO
•Onsite

About The Position

The Assembly Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of day-shift assembly operations across product-line work centers at Air Products’ St. Louis Membrane Solutions manufacturing facility. The facility assembles, tests, and ships air separation modules for aerospace, nitrogen, dehydration, and process-gas applications. Assembly is the final production step before shipment, so the supervisor is accountable for safe operations, product quality, test integrity, and accurate documentation. The supervisor leads and coordinates approximately 20–24 production technicians and Team Leads, overseeing productivity, employee training and development, engagement, and employee relations. The role requires building knowledge of assigned product-line assembly methods, test protocols, and quality documentation; developing Team Leads and technicians as the site scales; and maintaining disciplined shift handoffs with the night-shift supervisor. The position works across Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Continuous Improvement teams to resolve production issues, support corrective actions, and integrate new products. The supervisor is also responsible for safety leadership, production scheduling and prioritization, quality-system compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement activities, with minimal direction from management.
