About The Position

Pentair is seeking an Assembly Operator to join its Finishing Department in Dover, New Hampshire. The role involves assembling components for carbon filters and operating equipment used in final assembly and packaging. The operator follows detailed standard operating procedures and completes assigned tasks in accordance with quality and production standards. Work includes assembling and testing sub-assemblies, inspecting materials and products, packaging finished filters, recording production data, and maintaining a clean work area while supporting coworkers and meeting production goals.

Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, including meeting productivity standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and departments.
Ability to complete assignments within the parameters of given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift and lower weights up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assemble filter components, including gluing and crimping end caps, sonic welding, attaching gaskets, and inserting pleating.
Operate assembly equipment to support production and finishing processes.
Inspect materials and products, including media, end caps, shrink film, and cartons, and report quality concerns.
Shrink-wrap, label, and package individual filters; pack finished units into cartons with accurate lot and quantity information.
Record production data accurately and follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Assemble and test sub-assemblies using bills of materials, work instructions, and company processes.
Meet production goals, support coworkers, maintain a clean work area, and stand for the full shift.
