About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components and wiring using hand and power tools, ensuring quality, safety, and proper installation while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves assembling fixtures, mounting electronic components, and installing them into larger assemblies or casings. It also includes installing electrical wiring and testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Assemblies may be completed by hand or with small tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Fast, self-initiating learning ability.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and mount electronic components, installing them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products by hand or using small tools.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, as well as screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, or similar tools.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete required work with attention to detail.
• Work with others in a team environment.
