About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components and wiring using hand and power tools, ensuring quality, safety, and proper installation while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves assembling fixtures, mounting electronic components, installing components into larger assemblies or casings, and ensuring electrical wiring is installed properly. Operators test or troubleshoot equipment before it is placed into service or returned to service. Assembly may be performed by hand or with small tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to use hand tools such as drills, crimpers, wire strippers, and tools for screws, bolts, rivets, or press fits.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and electronic components, subassemblies, and products.
• Mount electronic components and install them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Use hand and power tools to perform assembly work.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete required work with attention to detail.
• Work with others in a team environment.
