About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components and wiring using hand and power tools, ensuring quality, safety, and proper installation while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves assembling fixtures, mounting electronic components, and installing them into larger assemblies or casings. The operator ensures electrical wiring is properly installed and tests or troubleshoots equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Components and subassemblies may be assembled by hand or with small tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Fast, self-initiated learning ability.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and electronic components, and install them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products by hand or using small tools.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, as well as screws, bolts, rivets, and press fits.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete work with attention to detail and work with others in a team environment.
