About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components and wiring, fixtures, and subassemblies, installing components into larger assemblies or casings. The role involves using hand and power tools, ensuring proper wiring installation, and testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Operators follow safety, security, instructions, and quality guidelines while learning and performing manual tool operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and electronic components, mounting them and installing them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products by hand or with small tools.
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, as well as screws, bolts, rivets, and press fits.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete work attentively and accurately.
• Work with others in a team environment.
