About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components, wiring, fixtures, subassemblies, and products by hand or with hand and power tools. The role involves mounting electronic components and installing them into larger assemblies or casings, ensuring proper electrical wiring installation, and testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service. The operator follows safety, security, instruction, and quality guidelines while learning manual tool operations and contributing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to learn quickly and self-initiate learning.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and electronic components, subassemblies, and products.
• Mount electronic components and install them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, and fasteners such as screws, bolts, and rivets.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete required work accurately and with attention to detail.
• Work with others in a team environment.
