About The Position

Rugby Manufacturing is hiring a full-time Assembler for the day shift. The work schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with shortened overtime hours on Friday. Starting wages range from $16.90 to $23.80, depending on experience. Rugby Manufacturing designs and manufactures truck bodies, hoists, related truck equipment, and accessories.

The role involves removing debris and spatter from truck bodies, hoists, and fabricated parts; maintaining a clean work environment; meeting daily work schedules; and performing other duties as assigned. The employee must follow safety procedures, meet production and quality standards, and work overtime as required to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Ability to manually move products and materials up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds when using overhead hoists.
• Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time, including on concrete, ladders, and dump bodies.
• Ability to read and perform basic computer data entry.
• Ability to work in a team environment to identify and solve problems.
• Ability to work at a reasonable pace and meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities
