About The Position

Panel Services builds electrical control panels for customer applications. Panels vary in size and complexity and are built to Engineering and UL508A specifications. The Panel Assembler mounts, wires, cuts, and assembles components as part of the panel build process. This role is hourly and non-exempt in the Production Department, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and overtime, including Saturdays, as needed to meet business demands. The work is performed in a fast-paced production environment and involves standing for extended periods and using hand and power tools.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings; these skills will be tested in the interview.
Ability to work quickly while adhering to quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, electric screwdrivers, crimping tools, and jigsaws.
Computer skills, including MS Office, email, and a current Windows operating system.
Ability to lift 25–50 pounds occasionally and use heavy hand tools daily.
Ability to stand for long periods, including during an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Measure, drill, punch, and cut metal enclosures accurately.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings, and wire panels according to them.
Install components, crimp connections, and route wiring while meeting specifications and maintaining attention to detail.
Produce assemblies, apply labels, and package peripherals.
Learn role responsibilities and work under supervision.
Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity.
Use the computer ERP system to perform transactions.
Assist with verifying stock accuracy through occasional cycle counts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
