About The Position

Rugby Manufacturing is hiring a full-time assembler for the day shift at its Rugby, North Dakota location. The role involves cleaning truck bodies, hoists, and fabricated parts by removing debris and spatter, maintaining a clean work environment, and meeting the daily job or work schedule. The starting wage is $16.90 per hour, with pay up to $23.80 depending on experience. The position includes shortened overtime hours on Friday and may require additional overtime to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Ability to manually move products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds when using overhead hoists.
• Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time.
• Ability to work on concrete, ladders, and dump bodies.
• Ability to read and perform basic computer data entry.
• Ability to work in a team environment to identify and solve problems.
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Remove debris and spatter from truck bodies, hoists, and fabricated parts.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Meet the daily job or work schedule.
• Rotate jobs as needed to meet the job schedule, team needs, or safety recommendations.
• Work at a reasonable pace while meeting production efficiency and quality standards to complete tasks on time.
• Follow safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, complete maintenance requests, and communicate hazards to co-workers and management.
• Attend and participate in required company meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
