About The Position
Franklin Water Treatment, a Division of Franklin Electric, is hiring an Assembler to help produce residential and commercial water treatment systems. The role involves assembling equipment and kits according to detailed instructions, safely operating a forklift, and working across different workstations to meet production schedules. The Assembler identifies and reports quality, equipment, process, or material concerns and follows Franklin Electric quality and safety standards. The company seeks a dependable, detail-oriented employee who follows instructions, works efficiently, and takes pride in quality work.
Requirements
- Punctuality, dependability, and strong attendance.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One to two or more years of experience in a manufacturing-type position preferred.
- Forklift certification and one to three or more years of forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to continually lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to continually stand and regularly walk.
- Ability to occasionally sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; and use upper extremities or reach above the shoulders.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two or more years of experience in a manufacturing-type position.
- Forklift certification with one to three or more years of forklift experience.
