About The Position

The Assembler position is responsible for ensuring consistency in operations through the ability to read and follow written instructions from an operation manual when assembling products. This role involves using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, box cutters, and power tools to craft Potter Global Technologies products. Additionally, the Assembler will complete packing operations by packaging parts into cartons and taping boxes using auto tape dispensers. The position also requires serving as a partner to the Quality Control Team by ensuring all standard operating procedures and work instructions are followed, and actively creating a safe and secure work environment through adhering to all company safety measures. Collaboration is key, as the Assembler will contribute to a team environment by proactively resolving conflicts and being a supportive team member, and will collaborate with manufacturing leaders to accept feedback in an effort to increase performance and product quality. The role also involves taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones.

Requirements

  • Ability to conduct repetitive movements of lightweight parts (up to 10 pounds/part).
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to interact with others in a respectful and collaborative manner.
  • Adequately read and follow written instructions from an operation manual.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting using tools to assemble small items is preferred.
