About The Position

Sanborn Manufacturing, a subsidiary of MAT Industries and a leading manufacturer of ASME pressure vessels, is seeking a full-time Assembler for its Springfield, MN team. This position is on the first shift and involves assembling various mechanical and electro-mechanical parts or components of air compressors. The role requires high attention to detail, the ability to work with a sense of urgency as part of a team, and a willingness to work overtime and be flexible in the department. Training will be provided. The work involves repetitive assembly and lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• High school graduate/GED
• High attention to detail
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Willing to work as a team
• Operate air tools, hoists, hand tools, etc.
• Safety conscious, quality minded, good work habits and attendance
• Willing to work overtime and flexible in the department, work where needed

Responsibilities

• Assemble various mechanical and electro-mechanical parts or components of the air compressor to produce a quality product for the customer.
• Perform repetitive assembly and repetitive lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.
• Work with a sense of urgency and be willing to work as a team.
• Operate air tools, hoists, and hand tools.
• Maintain safety consciousness, quality mindedness, good work habits, and attendance.
• Be willing to work overtime and be flexible in the department, working where needed.
