About The Position

The Associate rotates through a variety of machine and hand assembly jobs. The role includes reading work orders, recording and transferring tickets in Vision IS, assembling and packaging parts, monitoring quality, meeting daily production goals, and keeping work areas clean and neat. Associates must rotate through all jobs and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently or as a team member.
• Quality- and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility in job assignments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to meet job productivity expectations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to sit or stand for a ten-hour shift.
• Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, and work overhead.
• Ability to wear all required PPE.
• Strong hand/eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work orders.
• Make tickets and perform ticket transfers using Vision IS.
• Identify quality flaws and bring them to the lead's attention.
• Operate automatic screwdrivers, riveters, and sonic welders.
• Package products, use small scales, lift boxes, and operate a pallet jack.
• Manually assemble small parts using presses and handheld tools.
• Work on moving assembly lines, such as an auto-bagger or doboy, to bag parts.
• Keep work areas clean and neat.
• Track production and accurately record counts for each job.
• Meet daily production goals for each job.
• Rotate through all jobs.
