About The Position

Tyson Foods is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to assemble snack trays according to company standards. The role involves ensuring ingredient accuracy, confirming product quality and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The facility produces products including Hillshire Snack packs, Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls, and Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches, and handles pork products. Depending on business needs, employees may be assigned work directly involving pork products. The facility operates five to six days a week.

This is a third-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with some weekends as needed. The starting base pay is $18.80 per hour, with a shift increase for second and third shifts. Additional compensation may be available based on factors such as shift differentials, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work in cold temperatures ranging from 20 to 36 degrees.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• May be assigned to work directly with pork products, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble snack trays using established recipes and portion guidelines.
• Inspect trays to confirm that all required components are present and properly arranged.
• Add missing items to ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Promptly report product or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.
