About The Position

Tyson Foods is hiring dependable, detail-oriented individuals for its snack tray assembly team. The role involves assembling snack trays to company standards, accurately checking ingredients and presentation, and keeping the workstation clean and safe. The facility produces Hillshire Snack packs, Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls, and Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches, and handles pork products. Depending on business needs, employees may be assigned to work directly with pork products. The position is based in Caseyville, Illinois, and is scheduled for third shift, 10:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. The facility operates five to six days per week. Starting pay is $18.80 per hour, with a shift increase for second and third shifts. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

Assemble snack trays according to established recipes and portion guidelines.
Inspect trays to verify all required components are present and properly arranged.
Add missing items to ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Promptly report product or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Assist with other production tasks as needed.
