About The Position

Tyson Foods is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join its snack tray assembly team. The role assembles snack trays to company standards, checks ingredient accuracy and presentation, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. The facility produces items such as Hillshire Snack packs, Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls, and Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches, and handles pork products. Depending on business needs, employees may be assigned to roles involving direct work with pork products. The position is on second shift, Monday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with some weekends as needed. The facility operates five to six days per week. Starting base pay is $18.80 per hour, with a shift increase for second and third shifts. Additional compensation may be available depending on factors such as shift differentials, overtime, premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses.

Responsibilities

Assemble snack trays according to established recipes and portion guidelines.
Inspect trays to confirm all required components are present and properly arranged.
Add missing items to ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Promptly report product or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Assist with other production tasks as needed.
