About The Position

This will be a second shift (Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm) position at our Racine facility (8635 Washington Avenue, Mt Pleasant, WI). This role will start at $20+ hourly. The Assembler II is responsible for assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions. This position may be required to rotate throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired
  • Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment
  • Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and complete an audiogram test
  • Those working in the Aerospace department must be able to pass a Vision, Color Vision, and Depth perception test
  • This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components with precision and care
  • Ensure quality standards are met every step of the way
  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and supportive workplace
  • Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed on your own.
  • Use Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.
  • Take initiative to ensure priority items are completed and when needed seek out additional information from lead or Supervisor.
