About The Position

KPS Global is a provider of insulated panel systems for custom walk-ins serving convenience store, supermarket, and warehouse club markets. The company also manufactures custom enclosures for controlled environments in scientific and industrial markets. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, KPS Global has five manufacturing locations and more than 850 employees. It is privately held and owned by the Viessmann Generations Group.

The Assembler assembles fabricated parts under general supervision, following established procedures and guidelines. The role helps ensure that KPS Global meets quality, safety, and productivity standards and customer requirements. This is a second-shift position.

Requirements

• Able to stand and walk on concrete for up to 100% of the workday.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds alone and lift or carry more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Able to climb and balance.
• Able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel.
• Able to visually inspect products.
• Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials; wire basic electrical connections according to applicable diagrams.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products, using lifting equipment when available.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components.
• Complete and maintain associated electronic process paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
